United Group Services manufactures and installs power piping to the requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Sections I, and B31.1. UGS also manufactures and installs pressure vessels to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements, Sections VIII Div.1. We also perform metallic repairs and alterations to pressure-retaining items (PRI) such as ASME Section I, VIII Div.1., and B31.1 in accordance with the requirements of the National Board Inspection Code and Jurisdiction in which the item is installed. UGS’ activities may be conducted in the field or shop.

• AWS D1.1 – Covers structural welding of carbon steel, and welder certifications.
