Project Controller/Scheduler

United Group Services is currently seeking a process piping, ironworker, and millwright Project Controller – Schedulers In Apple Grove, WV.

Essential Job Duties:

• Ability and desire to learn Primavera P6 program.
• Ability and desire to learn Project Controls EVMS processes.
• An understanding of different contract types, FFP, FUR, CPFF & T&M.
• Basic knowledge of cost estimating and basic accounting.
• Self-motivated problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and accuracy while supporting interruptions in a dynamic working environment.
• Strong and Effective written and verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with multidisciplinary team members; ability to effectively present information and respond effectively and sensitively to questions.
• High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information.
• Ability to deliver planning solutions.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and make decisions, exercise good judgment, work under pressure, work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.
• Experience and skills with computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
• Must be able to travel 20% of the time to job sites as necessary to attend customer required in-person schedule meetings.
