Honda – Chilled Water Piping

Project overview

Most people in the U.S. are familiar with Honda products. When they needed a chilled water system to expand their capacity, United Group Services was asked to assist another mechanical contractor with the work.

Challenge

Honda was operating beyond the capacity of the existing facility, so a solution was needed quickly. The project required a significant amount heavy lifting and equipment. Fortunately, United Group Services specializes in facilitating heavy work within a quick timeline.

Solution

Once the new facility was created, it was tied seamlessly back into their existing system. United Group Services worked with the existing facility, plant and maintenance crew, and accomplished the planned connections during a scheduled plant shut down, avoiding unscheduled down time.
