Boiler System Upgrade

Project Overview:

United Group Services recently completed a successful modernization project at a plant for one of our longtime chemical partners. The facility specializes in supplying various chemicals for catalytic converter production and meeting automotive requirements. The project aimed to enhance the facility’s capabilities and improve operational efficiency.

Challenge:

One of the main challenges of the project was integrating three state-of-the-art Camus Hydronics Ltd. boilers into the plant’s operations. This required meticulous planning and coordination, as well as the talents of our skilled team, who welded carbon steel natural gas lines for the new boilers and 6″ stainless lines to efficiently supply the facility with hot water and heat. Following the boiler installation, our HVAC team at IMECH added specialty boiler flues to ensure the system functioned efficiently.
